About Amanda Kocher, Intern (she/her)

A strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation for change, and my greatest commitment is showing up genuinely and authentically to each session. With that, you can expect warmth, humor, compassion, and vulnerability. I value connection, self-expression, and finding gratitude through honoring the light and shadows within ourselves and the world around us. I am here to collaborate with you while providing a safe, nonjudgmental space for curiosity, exploration, and processing. I would be honored to join you as we navigate the ebbs and flows of life.
I have a B.A. in Psychology from Webster University, and I am currently pursuing an M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regis University. I have experience in suicide prevention and crisis intervention, and I completed my practicum with the Eating Disorder Foundation where I co-facilitated an art journaling support group.
“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.” -Carl Rogers
