• About Justin Landen, LPCC

Aren’t we all, in our unique way, searching to deepen our connection with self and others—to feel a sense of belonging, to be seen, heard, known, and loved? At times, when we feel distant from our self and others, naturally, we experience varying levels of fear, anxiety, sadness, and/or anger; this is the body’s way of letting us know that something isn’t quite right. Instead of pushing away from those signals I encourage my clients to welcome and befriend the challenging emotions. In this way, we can begin to feel more fully connected to all parts of ourselves and others.

I take a client-centered and relational approach to therapy. I offer a variety of tools/strategies for emotional regulation, co-regulation, communication styles/patterns, and relationship challenges. Together, we will collaborate and discover which tools/strategies that most align with you. I also incorporate a nature-based approach, if that interests you.

I’m committed to creating a safe and supportive space where you can freely get curious about your thoughts, feelings, and emotions. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is a foundation of healing. Whatever comes up for you—I’ll be there to walk alongside you on your journey.
