About Tracy Stride, Intern
Arvada & Virtual Sessions
In the midst of winter, I finally learned there was, within me, an invincible summer. -Albert Camus
Are you grieving what used to be? Do you feel lost in life right now? Are you contemplating a divorce or navigating life post-breakup? Are you struggling with parenting? Do you feel like you are in a mid-life crisis of sorts?
There are certain times in our lives when transitions define us. Some of life’s transitions can lead us into dark nights of the soul. They may come with fear, confusion, anxiety, depression, resistance, anguish, and grief. They force us to confront our values, beliefs, and priorities and to know ourselves more deeply. I provide a safe space for individuals to sort through difficult times, making it to the other side of a transition where often we can even feel genuine gratitude for the growth, clarity, and healing that came with it.
My approach is Humanistic and integrated, drawing on Internal Family Systems (IFS), Attachment, Existential, Jungian, and sandtray work. I am nearly finished with my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Regis University. I also have experience working with individuals struggling with substance abuse, life transition, and family trauma through my work at Spero Recovery Center where I completed my practicum. I have additional training and experience with grief and end-of-life.
Our work together is a time to safely explore your circumstances, feelings, and patterns on your way through and out of this difficult period. Our sessions will leave you with a sense of deeper understanding, resilience, and hope that will carry you toward a life you want that is filled with meaning and purpose.
