• About Sophie Matic, Intern
    Arvada & Virtual Sessions

As a social worker with nearly 10 years of experience endorsing individuals’ self-determination, I am deeply committed to transcending traditional teamwork and empowering ultimate individualism. With a rich background in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), emotional regulation, impulse control, and narrative therapy, my strength-based style extends beyond sharpening intrapersonal communication and self-confidence.

Throughout my career in diverse and innermost environments, from the criminal justice system to early learning and skilled nursing facilities, I’ve consistently focused on promoting autonomy, authentic representation, and meaningful relationships. From my experience, I specialize in couples counseling, depression management, anxiety management, trauma recovery, substance abuse, and general discontent with life. Encouraging open communication and emotional expression among individuals, I strive to dismantle the barriers to vulnerability.

Pursuing my Master’s in Social Work, I carry the sense of urgency and due diligence to secure an empathetic and comprehensive approach. I aim to foster an environment where individuals feel championed in pursuing personal growth, life enrichment, and collective achievement.
